By a strait and poorly paved road, pilgrims and nature lovers go up and down since almost five centuries, searching for peace and for a light to illuminates their life, alleviates and gives them answer to their restlessness. And without breaking the harmony of the nature nor disturbing the landscape, a cable car and funicular facilitate the access to thousands of people who also wish to reach the peak.

Seated in the top of the hill, like an imperturbable watchtower, a beautiful Sanctuary presides and look over the capital city and the green savannah. And at the end of the temple, in a crystal case, the beautiful and venerable image of the "Saint Christ Fallen by the whips and nailed into the Cross", presides silently the gigantic and uninterrupted pilgrimage of its devotees.

The Sanctuary offers its pastoral services in these schedules:

• Saint Mass:
  Monday through Friday 1:00 p.m.
  First Fridays 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m..
  Saturdays 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:00 m. and 2:00 p.m.
  Sundays of 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 m. hourly; 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  Holidays 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 m. and 2:00 p.m.
  

• Prayer of Sainted Rosary:
  Saturdays 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
  Monday through Friday: 12:00 m.

• Confessions:
  Saturdays, first Fridays and Holidays 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  Sundays from the 6:00 a.m. to the 3:00 p.m.
• The Sanctuary is open of Monday through Saturday of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  Sundays 5:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  Holidays 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
